1-Day Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Tour from Kigali City

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Your professional safari guide will pick you up from your hotel or residence in Kigali at 2:30 AM for a scenic drive through Rwanda’s beautiful countryside, known as the “Land of a Thousand Hills.” Cross the Katuna Border into Uganda and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Upon arrival, attend a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before beginning your gorilla trekking adventure. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, hike through the rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek may last several hours depending on the gorillas’ location.

Once found, enjoy a memorable one-hour encounter observing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat. After the trek, receive your gorilla trekking certificate, enjoy lunch, and begin the return journey to Kigali. Arrive in the evening for drop-off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport.
