Nairobi to Ol Pejeta

Our adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport. The drive north takes you through Kenya's fertile central highlands, with Mount Kenya's snow-capped peaks rising dramatically on the horizon as you approach Nanyuki. By midday you arrive at Sweet waters Serena Camp, set deep inside the 110,000-acre Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Check in to your luxury tent, step onto your private veranda, and watch the waterhole elephants, buffalo, and warthogs are already coming and going as you settle in. After lunch, your afternoon game drive begins. Ol Pejeta carries a higher wildlife density than any national park in Kenya lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and both black and white rhinos roam freely across the conservancy plains. Your guide knows exactly where to look. Return to camp as darkness falls, and watch nocturnal wildlife gather at the floodlit waterhole from the night viewing bar.
