Your driver-guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel short briefing then depart Nairobi and drive down the escarpment of the scenic Great Rift Valley, brief stopover at the viewpoint for photography and panoramic views. Continue through the Maasai plains, arriving at your lodge in time for check-in and lunch.
Take some time to settle in and relax. Later, embark on your first afternoon game drive across the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This is an excellent time to witness predators waking up and preparing for their evening hunts. Return to the camp as dusk falls for dinner and overnight.

Full Day Maasai Mara

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive with packed picnic lunch boxes. This allows you to explore deeper into the expansive savannah plains without returning to camp for lunch. Your guide will track the iconic "Big Five" (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, and Rhino) alongside vast herds of zebras, giraffes, and cheetahs.
You will enjoy your picnic lunch at a designated site under a classic acacia tree, overlooking the rolling landscape or near the Mara River. In the afternoon, you can optionally choose to visit a traditional Maasai Village (Boma) for an immersive cultural dance, chanting, and a glimpse into their pastoral lifestyle (optional activity, extra charges apply). Return to the lodge in the evening.

Enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast at the Lodge. Check out of your accommodation and begin your return road journey back toward Nairobi, enjoying the final views of the Rift Valley escarpment along the way. Arrive in Nairobi, where your guide will transfer you back to your hotel or drop you off directly at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your outbound flight home.
