Pick up from Kigali and Transfer to Kinigi Musanze in Rwanda

You will enjoy a city tour around Kigali, visiting 2-3 places like the Nyandungu Eco park, the Gisozi genocide memorial museum, the Kigali convention centre, and the Nyamirambo women’s centre
Thereafter, you will transfer to Kinigi in Musanze for an overnight and preparation for the golden monkey tracking the next morning in the Volcanoes National Park.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be in Kinigi, Musanze.

Golden Monkey Tracking in Volcanoes National Park and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You have an early morning breakfast and depart your hotel in Musanze for Kinigi Volcanoes park headquarters at 6:30 am Kigali Time to be ready for the briefing at the park headquarters by 07:00 am.
Your driver-guide will drop you at the starting point after a briefing to start your golden monkey tracking experience in the Virunga mountains.
Hiking takes 2-4 hours, and you are allowed 1 hour to observe the golden monkeys once you locate them during the hike.
Later, you return to the base to be picked up by your guide to return to your lodge for a hot lunch.
You'll transfer later in the afternoon to Bwindi forest national park through Cyanika border, enjoying the beautiful views of the towering Virunga mountains from the road.
You arrive in Bwindi forest in the evening to check in and have some rest.

Dinner and overnight stay will be in Bwindi Forest.

Batwa Cultural Experience, Village Walk and Coffee Experience

You will have an afternoon Batwa community visit to experience the forest life of the Batwa (Pygmy people).

During the 2-hour experience, you will learn about the Batwa history and their eviction from the forests in the early 1990s. Before their removal, the Batwa livelihoods solely depended on the forest economy, mainly through hunting and fruit gathering.

The Batwa community experience offers a glimpse into this marginalized community’s historical lifestyles from the perspective of village life. The community experience will showcase cultural norms, singing, dancing and coffee making experience.
The revenue raised from the community tour goes directly to support the livelihood needs of the Batwa households.

Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have an early morning breakfast and thereafter be transferred by your driver guide to the park headquarters where park rangers will brief you about the regulations for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and also you will be divided into a group of 8 visitors. You will be led by a ranger and a team of researchers to start trekking of these gentle giants. After you encounter these gentle giants, you are allowed to spend six hours together with researchers and trackers as you study and observe these magnificent mountain gorillas close up in their natural habitat.
Principally hikers will love the trek in the beautiful ecosystem of the park. But overall, this will be a unique and unforgettable experience!
After the gorilla habituation, you will be given a certificate for succeeding a gorilla trek in Uganda/bwindi then transfer back to your lodge.

Forest Walk and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

You'll have breakfast at your lodge and prepare to go on a nature walk to the forest, visit the Kanyanyondo waterfalls in Rushaga.
The forest walk and community visit to the falls takes 3-4 hours.
You will return to your lodge to check out and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Lake Bunyonyi.

You will have a morning canoe/boat island visit to explore some of the 29 islands of Lake Bunyonyi.
The boat island visit takes 2-3 hours as you soak in the breeze from Lake Bunyonyi.
You check out of your lodge for transfer to Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park through Ruhiija — Buhoma sector of Bwindi.
The road transfer will take 3-4 hours depending on the weather.

You have an early morning breakfast and head out for a morning game drive in the vast Ishasha wilderness. This is a common place for spotting lions lying up in trees as the day heats up. You will explore the banks of the Rivers from Ishasha to Ntungwe and the shores of Lake Edward.
You will proceed from Ishasha to Kazinga channel in the afternoon as you head for an overnight stay at the Mweya Peninsula.

Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge of Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will wake up at 6:00 and have breakfast by 6:30am. You transfer to Kyambura gorge for briefing as you prepare for chimpanzee trekking.
You'll join other visitors and start the walk down the gorge in search of chimpanzees. Chimpanzee tracking takes 1-4 hours and you spend an hour with the chimpanzees.
You return to your lodge for lunch and an afternoon rest.

After lunch, you will be transferred to Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a late afternoon game drive. During the game drive, you will drive via the various channel tracks in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, antelopes and several birdlife.

Your dinner and overnight stay will be in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

You have an early morning breakfast and head out for a morning game drive to search for Big cats and early raisers in the savanna

You'll return to Kazinga Channel for lunch and an afternoon 2 hours boat cruise to see various wild animals by the water.

In the late afternoon, you head out to view and explore the crater lakes in Queen Elizabeth national park

Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Entebbe for a Departure

Have an early morning breakfast before checking out from your lodge to transfer back to Entebbe for Departure.
The drive from Queen Elizabeth to Entebbe is an 8-9 hours drive. You will have a stopover at the equator crossing point in Kayabwe to relax, take photos and have a lunch break before proceeding to the airport.

This will definitely mark the end of your 11 Days Rwanda Uganda trip.
