Day 1

Kampala – Transfer to Kibale National Park

After an early breakfast, depart from Kampala or Entebbe and begin your scenic journey to Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of East Africa.
Drive through beautiful countryside landscapes, tea plantations, local villages, and rolling hills as you head towards western Uganda. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and relaxation. Depending on arrival time, you may enjoy a nature walk to Bigodi wetlands or community experience around the crater lake region.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge near Kibale Forest.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your exciting chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale National Park.
Walk through the tropical rainforest while searching for habituated chimpanzee families. Along the trek, you may also encounter other primates including red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, baboons, and various bird species. Once the chimpanzees are located, spend one unforgettable hour observing their behaviors in the wild.
After lunch, continue your scenic drive south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through rolling hills and terraced landscapes.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge near Bwindi Forest.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before starting your gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The trek takes you through dense rainforest, steep slopes, and breathtaking jungle scenery as experienced guides lead you in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Trekking duration varies depending on the movement of the gorillas.
Once the gorillas are found, spend a magical hour observing them as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat -a truly unforgettable wildlife encounter.
Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
