After breakfast in Arba Minch, drive to the Konso cultural landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its terraced hills and traditional stone-walled villages. Continue the journey through the scenic southern Rift Valley, passing beautiful landscapes and remote villages along the way. In the afternoon, proceed to Turmi, the heart of the Hamar people region. Arrive in the evening and check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. This day combines cultural discovery with an immersive overland experience through Ethiopia’s southern tribes region.

Depending on time and conditions, you may also encounter local markets or other small ethnic groups en route. In the afternoon, continue toward the Dasenech region or return to Turmi area for overnight stay, enjoying dinner and rest in the heart of the Omo Valley.

After breakfast, depart from Turmi and drive toward Jinka through the scenic landscapes of the Omo Valley. On the way, if available, visit a local tribal market such as Key Afer or Dimeka, depending on market days, where different ethnic groups gather for trade and cultural exchange. Continue the drive to Jinka and arrive in the afternoon. Visit the South Omo Research Center and Museum to learn about the diverse tribes of the region, their traditions, and history. Later, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Jinka.
