Upon arrival in Uganda, you will be welcomed by your driver-guide and begin your journey north towards Murchison Falls National Park. En route, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can track wild rhinos on foot. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, you will enjoy a guided walking safari to observe the southern white rhinos in their natural habitat, along with other wildlife such as antelopes and various bird species. After this exciting experience, continue your scenic drive through local villages and landscapes to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, proceed to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay as you prepare for the adventures ahead.

After an early breakfast, you will set out for a morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, exploring the northern bank where wildlife is abundant. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, and various bird species across the savannah plains. Your experienced guide will help you track wildlife and explain the park’s rich ecosystem. After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat cruise on the River Nile towards the base of the powerful Murchison Falls. Along the way, you will spot hippos, crocodiles, and numerous water birds, with stunning views of the riverbanks. After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and begin a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park, known as the primate capital of East Africa. The journey takes you through beautiful countryside landscapes, tea plantations, rolling hills, and traditional Ugandan villages, offering excellent photo opportunities along the way. You will stop for lunch en route and may also have brief stops to stretch and enjoy the views of the Albertine Rift Valley escarpment. Upon arrival in Kibale, you will check in at your lodge and relax as you prepare for the next day’s chimpanzee tracking adventure. Depending on arrival time, you may take a short nature walk around the lodge or simply unwind in the peaceful forest environment while enjoying dinner and overnight stay.

Along the way, you may also encounter other primates such as red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and various bird species. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will spend a memorable hour observing their behavior in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch, then check out and begin your scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey passes through beautiful crater lakes and rolling landscapes. Your guide will help you track wildlife and share insights about the park’s ecosystem. After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. The drive takes you through the southern Ishasha sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions that can often be seen resting in fig trees. You will enjoy an en-route game drive while searching for these unique lions, as well as elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes in the savannah plains. After the wildlife experience, continue through scenic countryside landscapes, terraced hills, and local communities as you approach the mist-covered Bwindi Forest. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and relax in preparation for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and safety guidelines. You will then enter the dense rainforest, accompanied by experienced ranger guides, to begin your search for a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek may take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas, passing through thick vegetation, steep slopes, and rich biodiversity. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend a magical one hour observing them as they feed, play, and interact in their natural habitat—an unforgettable wildlife experience. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a peaceful transfer or relaxation at Lake Bunyonyi, known for its scenic beauty and calm environment. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
