Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and travel through the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley towards the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, enjoy scenic viewpoints, rolling hills, and glimpses of rural Kenya before arriving in the Mara region in time for lunch.

Known as Kenya’s premier wildlife reserve, the Masai Mara offers some of the best safari experiences in Africa, with vast open plains and remarkable concentrations of wildlife throughout the year.

In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk around camp, offering a closer look at the smaller details of the African bush while taking in the peaceful surroundings of the reserve.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend the day exploring the incredible Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives across its wildlife-rich plains.

The reserve is home to the famous Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and abundant birdlife. Depending on the season, you may also witness part of the Great Migration, one of the world’s most spectacular natural events.

Your experienced safari guide will help track wildlife while sharing insight into the ecosystem, animal behaviour, and the unique landscapes that make the Mara one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations.

Return to camp in the evening and enjoy dinner beneath the African sky.

Masai Mara to Nairobi – Departure

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning before checking out and beginning the journey back to Nairobi through the scenic Great Rift Valley.

Arrive back in Nairobi later in the day, where you will be transferred to the airport or your hotel for your onward travel arrangements.
