Transfer from Rwanda to Uganda

After arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional guide and transferred to Kigali city for lunch at a local restaurant while enjoying a short city experience. After lunch, continue the scenic journey through the beautiful hills of Rwanda towards the Uganda border, crossing through Cyanika Border Post. After immigration formalities, proceed to Uganda with breathtaking views of the countryside before arriving at Engiri Game Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Chimpanzee trekking and boat cruise

This day, it will be chimpanzee trekking in Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve which is an exciting primate experience where walk walk through the tropical rainforest in search of habituated chimpanzees. During the trek, you may also spot monkeys, baboons, colorful birds, butterflies, and beautiful forest vegetation while learning about chimpanzee behavior from experienced guides. This forest reserve is known for its high chances of seeing chimpanzees climbing trees and feeding.

In morning you will experience game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park which offers an unforgettable safari adventure across Uganda’s famous savannah plains to see a variety of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, Uganda kobs, warthogs, Impalas and waterbucks. The park is also destinations with diverse landscapes ranging from grasslands to crater lakes and wetlands. During evening, you will be back to Kigali to stay at Yambi hotel.
