3-Day Tsavo West Standard Safari

Mombasa or Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park

You will be met by your driver guide at your beach hotel, Moi International Airport, or departure point before travelling towards Tsavo West National Park. Enter the park with an enroute game drive, giving you your first chance to experience Tsavo’s wilderness and spot wildlife along the way.

Arrive at Severin Safari Lodge – Kitani Bandas in time for lunch, followed by some time to settle in. In the afternoon, head back into the park for a game drive through Tsavo West’s rugged landscapes before returning to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast at camp, depart for a morning game drive in Tsavo West National Park. This is a great time to explore the park as wildlife becomes active across the bushveld, lava-stone landscapes, and open plains.

Return to Severin Safari Lodge – Kitani Bandas for lunch and time to relax during the heat of the day. Later in the afternoon, continue your safari with another game drive in the park, allowing more time to search for Tsavo’s wildlife and enjoy the dramatic scenery.

Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo West National Park – Departure

Guests continuing to Mombasa will depart with picnic lunch boxes and transfer to Mtito Andei Train Station for the train to Mombasa. Guests departing from Nairobi will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
