Nairobi to Mombasa by SGR Train

Your coastal adventure begins with pickup from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport followed by a transfer to the Nairobi SGR Terminus for your scenic Madaraka Express train journey to Mombasa. Enjoy comfortable travel through Kenya’s beautiful landscapes including views of Tsavo National Park along the route.

Upon arrival at the Mombasa SGR Terminus, you will be met by our representative and transferred to PrideInn Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa located along the beautiful Bamburi Beach coastline. Check in, relax, and enjoy the ocean breeze before dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

Haller Park Bamburi Visit & Beach Relaxation

After breakfast, proceed for a morning visit to Haller Park, a unique ecological sanctuary created from reclaimed quarry land. Enjoy guided nature walks while spotting giraffes, hippos, giant tortoises, crocodiles, monkeys, and numerous bird species. Learn about environmental conservation and ecosystem restoration efforts along Kenya’s coast.

Later, return to PrideInn Flamingo Beach Resort & Spa for relaxation at the beach and resort facilities. Spend the afternoon enjoying the swimming pool, white sandy beach, and breathtaking Indian Ocean views. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.

Mombasa Old Town & Fort Jesus Tour

After breakfast, depart for a cultural and historical tour of Mombasa Old Town. Walk through the narrow streets filled with Swahili, Arab, and Portuguese influences while exploring local markets, historic buildings, and vibrant coastal culture.

Continue to the famous Fort Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by the Portuguese in the 16th century. Learn about the rich history of the East African coast, ancient trade routes, and colonial influence in Mombasa.

After the excursion, return to the resort in the afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Mombasa to Nairobi by SGR Train – Departure

After breakfast, check out from the resort and transfer to the Mombasa SGR Terminus for your return Madaraka Express train journey to Nairobi. Upon arrival at the Nairobi SGR Terminus, our representative will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward international departure flight, marking the end of your memorable Mombasa beach experience.
