Journey to Masai Mara National Reserve & Afternoon Game Drive

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi followed by a scenic drive toward Masai Mara through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you will enjoy spectacular views of escarpments, rolling hills, and local countryside with a short stop for photography.
You arrive at your camp in time for lunch, check-in, and a brief relaxation before heading out for your first exciting game drive in the reserve. You explore the endless plains famous for their rich wildlife and dramatic scenery while searching for elephants, lions, buffaloes, and antelopes roaming freely in their natural habitat. During migration season, you may also witness large herds of wildebeest crossing the Mara ecosystem.
Your experienced safari guide will share insights about the wildlife, ecosystem, and Maasai culture throughout the drive. As the sun sets over the plains, you return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Sunrise to Sunset in the Masai Mara National Reserve & Picnic Lunch

You will spend the day exploring the breathtaking wilderness of Masai Mara on a full-day safari adventure with picnic lunch included.
After an early breakfast, you will depart with your guide for an extended game drive across the reserve’s savannah plains, riverbanks, and wildlife-rich areas in search of the famous Big Five and other incredible animals. You spot lions resting under acacia trees, elephants roaming freely, cheetahs scanning the grasslands, and large herds of zebras, wildebeest, and antelopes grazing across the plains.
Later in the afternoon, you enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic designated area surrounded by the beauty of the wilderness before continuing with afternoon wildlife viewing and photography opportunities. Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast at your camp in Masai Mara National Reserve, you will check out and begin your scenic journey to Lake Naivasha, traveling through local towns in the countryside and natural features as you make your way to one of Kenya’s most peaceful freshwater lakes.
You arrive in Naivasha in time for lunch at your hotel, followed by check-in and some relaxation. Later in the afternoon, you will enjoy an optional boat trip at an additional cost across the calm waters of Lake Naivasha, where you may spot hippos resting in the lake, fish eagles soaring above, and a variety of birdlife along the shoreline. You may also choose to visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for an optional guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and other free-roaming herbivores in a scenic natural environment (at an extra cost)
You return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and night's stay while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of Lake Naivasha.

You will enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your hotel near Lake Naivasha while taking in the peaceful surroundings of the Great Rift Valley. Depending on your departure schedule, you may have time for a short nature walk at an additional cost or simply relax at the hotel before checking out.
Afterwards, you begin your scenic drive back to Nairobi, passing through beautiful countryside landscapes, local towns, and panoramic escarpment views along the way. You have en-route lunch, and optional stopovers for photography or souvenir shopping can be arranged during the journey.
