Day 1

Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport - Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport - Transfer to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Zanzibar, you will fly to Arusha Airport. Our safari guide will pick you up from the lodge and take you on a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park for a wildlife game drive, with lunch boxes in hand. Once the game drives are done, we will drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds, giant scattered baobab trees and tree-climbing African pythons. It consists of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannah, with the Tarangire River winding its way through the parklands, the only source of water for wildlife here during the Dry season. It is possible that we will see a lion stalking its prey, or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above.

After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park to spot wildlife while carrying lunch boxes. Enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. In the afternoon, we will continue with the game drive activity before reaching the camp. The next day will be spent on full-day game drives inside this park.

Serengeti National Park is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Be ready to see resident predators, leopards, cheetahs, and lions, fulfilling their role in the circle of life, as well as other wild animals. Once the game drives are done, we will drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will continue with the game drive in Serengeti National Park for wildlife sightings while carrying lunch boxes. Enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. In the afternoon, we will continue with the game drive activity before reaching the camp. The next day will be spent on full-day game drives inside this park.

After breakfast, our tour guide-driver will pick you up with picnic lunch boxes and depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater.

The Ngorongoro Crater is among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Africa and is one of the natural wonders of Africa, which constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, with the presence of about 30,000 large mammals resident all year round, such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs and rhinos and a wide variety of birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be ready to see many animals here within a short time.

Once the game drives are done, we will drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park - Drive to Arusha for Departure to Zanzibar

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara for game drives while carrying lunch boxes. Once we finish the game drive, we will transfer you to Arusha Airport for your return to Zanzibar, where our service ends.

Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of only 330 sq. km (127 sq. miles), of which up to 200 sq. km (77 sq. miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. The park is famous for the arboreal lions, which hide among the branches of the trees, and the numerous colonies of baboons that populate the forest and which will accompany you along the road from the moment you enter the park. The park is also an excellent place for bird watching and for finding elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, and buffalo. At some point during your game drive, you will get out of your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.
