Depart Arusha after an early breakfast (7:00 AM) and drive south-west to Lake Manyara National Park — approximately 2 hours away. The park is one of Tanzania's most scenic, nestled between the Great Rift Valley escarpment and the alkaline lake. Famous for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and spectacular flamingo flocks carpeting the lakeshore. Enjoy an en-route game drive through the groundwater forest and open floodplains before checking in to your tented camp. Gather for a communal dinner under the stars.

The 600-metre deep caldera is home to approximately 25,000 large mammals, including Africa's densest lion population, black rhino, elephant, hippo, buffalo, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebra. Your guide navigates the crater floor for a spectacular morning of game viewing. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before the ascent back to the rim. Drive north into the Serengeti through the Naabi Hill Gate into the legendary Seronera Valley.

A full day dedicated to exploring the world's most iconic safari destination. Rise at dawn for the morning game drive — the best time to catch predators on the hunt before the heat of the day. The wildebeest migration, depending on season, sweeps through the southern or central Serengeti in massive columns stretching to the horizon. Return to camp for a midday break and hot lunch, then head back out for the afternoon and sunset drive across the golden plains. Your guide will share tracking expertise and natural history knowledge throughout the day.

Tarangire NP and Return to Arusha

Depart the Serengeti after an early breakfast and drive south towards Tarangire National Park — Tanzania's hidden gem. Famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and exceptional birding with 550+ recorded species. The Tarangire River draws huge concentrations of wildlife, particularly in the dry season. Enjoy a morning game drive scanning the riverine woodland for lion, leopard, cheetah, wildebeest, and impala. A picnic lunch in the bush follows before the drive back to Arusha in the late afternoon, completing your Tanzania safari circuit.
