Arrival in Arusha & Karibu Heritage House

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to Arusha. Later, visit Karibu Heritage House, a unique cultural and art center showcasing Tanzania's rich history, traditions, artwork, gemstones, and handcrafted souvenirs.

After the visit, return to your lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Hadzabe Tribe & Lake Eyasi Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, depart for the Lake Eyasi region to meet the Hadzabe people, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. Learn about their traditional way of life, hunting techniques, survival skills, and unique click language.

You will also have the opportunity to visit the Datoga community and learn about their traditional blacksmithing practices and cultural traditions.

After the cultural experience, proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

The crater is home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, and the endangered black rhino.
