Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After meeting your safari guide, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of approximately two hours from Arusha. As soon as you enter the park, your wildlife adventure begins. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and abundant wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and many other species.

You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with an exciting afternoon game drive. In the evening, you will be transferred to your budget lodge in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

Start early after breakfast and depart around 6:30 am for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. About an hour later, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often called the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The crater has one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife, offering excellent game-viewing opportunities. You may see elephants, buffaloes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and various antelope species. It is also one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the endangered black rhino, while elusive servals and caracals are occasionally seen. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic site on the crater floor. After lunch, continue exploring this unique ecosystem before ascending the crater in the late afternoon and returning to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mount Kilimanjaro

Your Mount Kilimanjaro day trip begins with an early morning departure from Arusha at around 5:00 am. After a scenic drive of approximately 1.5–2.5 hours, you will arrive at Kilimanjaro National Park and meet your professional guide before starting your hike. Today’s adventure takes you to the beautiful Shira Plateau, one of the most scenic areas on Mount Kilimanjaro, located at about 3,600 meters above sea level. Formed from an ancient volcanic caldera, the plateau offers breathtaking views, unique vegetation, and fascinating geological features. Along the way, enjoy spectacular mountain scenery and a picnic lunch surrounded by nature. Depending on the hiking pace, you may visit Shira 1 Camp, Lion Gorge, and the foothills of the Shira Pinnacles. On clear days, magnificent views of Kibo Peak and its glaciers can be seen. After an unforgettable hiking experience, return to Arusha in the evening.
