On the first day of your safari, you will be picked up either from your hotel in Arusha or upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK). After meeting your professional safari guide, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of approximately two hours from Arusha.
Upon entering the park, your wildlife adventure begins. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many other species.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with an exciting afternoon game drive, exploring different areas of this beautiful national park. In the evening, you will leave the park and travel to your budget lodge in Mto wa Mbu, where dinner and an overnight stay await.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater

Start early after breakfast and depart around 6:30 am for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. About an hour later, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often called the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The crater has one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife, offering excellent game-viewing opportunities. You may see elephants, buffaloes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and various antelope species. It is also one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the endangered black rhino, while elusive servals and caracals are occasionally seen. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic site on the crater floor. After lunch, continue exploring this unique ecosystem before ascending the crater in the late afternoon and returning to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Mount Kilimanjaro

Today's hike takes you to the spectacular Shira Plateau, one of the most scenic areas on Mount Kilimanjaro, situated at an altitude of approximately 3,600 meters above sea level. Formed from an ancient volcanic caldera, the plateau is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, unique vegetation, and fascinating geological features.
Along the trail, you will enjoy stunning mountain views and a picnic lunch surrounded by nature. Depending on the hiking pace and weather conditions, you may visit Shira 1 Camp, Lion Gorge, and the foothills of the Shira Pinnacles. On clear days, magnificent views of Kibo Peak and its glaciers can be seen.
After this memorable Kilimanjaro day hike, you will descend and return to the park gate. There, you will meet our transfer driver, who will take you either back to your hotel in Arusha or directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) for your onward journey.
