You will enjoy a scenic journey through the highlands before entering the park for an afternoon game drive en route to the heart of the savanna, arriving at your central Serengeti accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.
​The central Serengeti, famously known as the Seronera Valley, is exceptionally rich in wildlife and provides a year-round home for countless resident species. ​This transition day offers a final opportunity to spot the Serengeti's big cats and grazing herds as they navigate the open grasslands. As you leave the park boundaries, you will experience changing landscapes ranging from endless golden plains to the vibrant, green agricultural hillsides surrounding Karatu village.

After an early breakfast, your Wilderness Insights Safaris professional guide will drive you to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an immersive morning game drive with packed lunch boxes. Upon ascending from the caldera floor, you will be transferred directly back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
​The legendary Ngorongoro Crater offers an unparalleled wildlife viewing experience within its massive, protective volcanic walls. During your exploration, you will have an excellent opportunity to spot the endangered black rhino alongside thriving herds of wildebeests, zebras, and lions before concluding your classic safari.
