Devote this day to a full exploration of Serengeti National Park. Start with an early morning game drive to see the savannah come to life as nocturnal predators return to cover and grazing animals begin to move across the plains.
Spend the day crossing a mosaic of habitats open grasslands, granite kopjes, seasonal rivers, and acacia woodlands searching for lions on rocky outcrops, cheetahs surveying the plains, leopards in riverine trees, and elephant herds roaming the bush.
Depending on the time of year, you may also encounter parts of the Great Migration, as vast numbers of wildebeest and zebras move through the ecosystem. From dawn to dusk, the Serengeti offers exceptional game-viewing and outstanding photographic opportunities.

On arrival at your lodge near the crater rim, take in sweeping views over the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and unwind in the evening as you look forward to the next day’s crater exploration.

An early breakfast is followed by a descent into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often referred to as Africa's "Garden of Eden." During your game drive, encounter large populations of lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and numerous antelope species. On your final safari day, explore the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet remarkably diverse reserve set below the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment. Drive through lush groundwater forests alive with baboons and blue monkeys, open plains where giraffes and elephants graze, and along the lakeshore, renowned for its prolific birdlife and, in season, flocks of flamingos. Lake Manyara is also known for its elusive tree-climbing lions, a behavior rarely seen elsewhere in Africa.
As you continue your game drive, savor your final wildlife encounters and the park’s striking scenery. Later in the afternoon, return to Arusha, reflecting on the memorable sightings and landscapes experienced throughout your safari. Depending on your schedule, you will then be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
