Day 1

After an early morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, you will be welcomed by your professional safari guide from Wajefya Expeditions Limited and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its massive baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers one of the most rewarding wildlife experiences in Tanzania.

Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive through diverse habitats including river valleys, acacia woodlands, and open grasslands. Wildlife commonly seen includes elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, and numerous bird species. The Tarangire River attracts animals throughout the year, making wildlife viewing exceptional during most seasons.

After a picnic lunch inside the park, continue exploring before driving to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, depart for the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Descend approximately 600 meters to the crater floor for an unforgettable game drive. The crater hosts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa and offers excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five. During your exploration, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, jackals, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, and the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool while surrounded by spectacular scenery. Continue your wildlife viewing before ascending the crater walls and returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Following breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara National Park for your final safari adventure. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is renowned for its scenic beauty, groundwater forests, and diverse wildlife.

Enjoy a game drive through the park's varied ecosystems where you may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, baboons, blue monkeys, and a variety of birdlife including pelicans, storks, and seasonal flocks of flamingos. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings are never guaranteed.

After lunch and a final game drive, return to Arusha Airport for your scheduled afternoon flight back to Zanzibar, bringing your Tanzanian safari adventure to a memorable conclusion.
