Day 2

After an early breakfast, depart for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience in Kyambura Gorge, famously known as the “Valley of Apes” in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Following a briefing by park rangers, venture into the lush forest in search of habituated chimpanzees. As you trek through the gorge, look out for other primates, birds, and unique vegetation. Once the chimpanzees are located, spend an hour observing their fascinating behavior in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, renowned for its abundant wildlife. Expect sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species along the shores. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its rare tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive through the savannah as you search for these unique predators often seen resting in fig trees, along with elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and other wildlife. The Ishasha sector offers excellent photography opportunities and stunning wilderness scenery.
After the game drive, continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas. After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before embarking on the unforgettable gorilla tracking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Trek through dense rainforest, following trails in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. Once found, spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat as they interact, feed, and care for their young. This remarkable encounter is often considered the highlight of any Uganda safari.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and check out. Later, depart for Lake Mburo National Park, enjoying scenic views of Uganda's rolling hills, rural communities, and beautiful landscapes along the way. Rise early for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park, one of Uganda's most scenic wildlife destinations.
