Day 2

After an early breakfast, depart for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience in Kyambura Gorge, famously known as the “Valley of Apes” in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Following a briefing by park rangers, venture into the lush forest in search of habituated chimpanzees. As you trek through the gorge, look out for other primates, birds, and unique vegetation. Once the chimpanzees are located, spend an hour observing their fascinating behavior in their natural habitat.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, renowned for its abundant wildlife. Expect sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species along the shores. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Once found, spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat as they interact, feed, and care for their young. This remarkable encounter is often considered the highlight of any Uganda safari.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and check out. Later, depart for Lake Mburo National Park, enjoying scenic views of Uganda's rolling hills, rural communities, and beautiful landscapes along the way. Rise early for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park, one of Uganda's most scenic wildlife destinations. Explore the park's open savannah, acacia woodlands, and wetlands while searching for zebras, giraffes, impalas, buffaloes, elands, topis, warthogs, and a variety of bird species. The early hours offer excellent wildlife viewing and photography opportunities as animals are most active before the day warms up.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and check out. Begin your journey back to Entebbe, enjoying the beautiful countryside and local communities along the way. Make a stop at the Uganda Equator for photographs, souvenir shopping, and lunch before continuing to Entebbe. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight or dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of an unforgettable Uganda safari experience.
