Arrival and Transfer to Kibale National Park

You will be picked up from the airport by our guide driver, and after introduction with a few brief formalities, you will embark on a 332 km journey to Kibale National Park.

Enroute, you will have a stop over to enjoy lunch and a brief relaxation, there after proceed to your accommodation. Check in, refresh, enjoy dinner and a well deserved rest.

Chimpanzee Trekking

You will wake up to a sumptuous breakfast after which you will be transferred to the Visitor information center to be assigned a chimpanzee family. Guided by expert rangers, you hike through lush tropical forest, listening to calls and spotting birds and monkeys along the way. The highlight is observing wild chimpanzees up close as they feed, play, and swing through the trees.

After your expedition, return to your accommodation for lunch, refreshment, dinner and overnight rest.

Kazinga Channel Boat cruise and Evening Game Drive

Early morning, after your breakfast, you will be led by our guide to Kazinga Channel, where you will board a boat for your morning Boat Safari. Cruise past pods of grunting hippos, watch elephants and buffalo come down to drink, enjoy flocks of pelican and other aquatic birds, catch a glimpse of the snow-capped Rwenzori peaks, and keep an eye open for the giant forest hog, a local specialty as you cruise along the diversified Kanzinga channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Later on, delight in the warm light and cooler temperatures as we take you out to explore on your evening game drive. This time of day is when both predators and prey are most active and it can feel as though anything could happen at any moment.

Journey to Volcanoes National park Via Ishasha Sector

You will wake up to a warm breakfast and prepare to check out of your accommodation.

You will be transferred to Volcanoes National Park by our guide driver via Ishasha Sector. Enjoy a thrilling safari experience across open savannah plains. As the sun rises, expect sightings of the famous tree-climbing lions, large herds of buffalo, elephants, topi, and antelopes, all set against a peaceful, golden African sunrise.

There after, you will proceed to volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. En route, you will have a stop over for lunch and relaxation as you prepare for the next leg of the journey.

On arrival at Virunga Inn resort and spa, you will be welcomed by the hotel staff, check in and relax, as you prepare to have dinner and a well deserved rest.

After lunch, enjoy an afternoon drive around the city, visit Kigali genocide memorial center, the Presidential Palace Museum and after return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
