Day 2

Transfer to Lake Mburo national park, walking safari experience

Have a relaxed breakfast from your hotel, as your prepare for a ultimate Uganda safari experience. Start off with a road transfer to western transfer with our destination; Lake Mburo national park. This is the nearest national park to Kampala. The smooth drive takes about approximately 4 hours. You will have an enroute stop over at the Equator; for a little stretch, picture and memory moment. Not to miss out the water experiment at this point that proves that the world is divided into the northern and southern hemispheres.
After you will proceed to you park, for lunch as you prepare for a walking safari. Enjoy the walk trek through the park’s beautiful trails, with beautiful scenic views of the park’s landscapes. While on the walking safari, you will view number of wildlife animals from topis, Buffaloes, elands, impalas, zebras, warthogs, reedbucks and many more. After retire to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park, cultural encounter with the Batwa

After a delicious breakfast, prepare for another transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. You will transfer smoothly by road about 5 hours to western Uganda, with more rewarding views from the countryside, local towns and beautiful landscape. Arrive later in the afternoon to your lodge, have lunch relax till evening time.

Later on, have a cultural experience, with a visit of the Batwa community. Immerse in the rich culture with the pygmy group from the entertaining traditional songs and dances, story tales, engaging local practices and more. After you will retire to the lodge for dinner and a sleep over.

Have early breakfast from your lodge and prepare for the ultimate gorilla experience. First you will Hike to the park’s headquarters for a short briefing about the Do’s and Don’ts While trekking the gentle giants. After proceed through the forest trails searching for a gorilla family. On finding one, you will spend one hour with an insight of their life in the Jungle, playing, feeding, and resting. After this, return to the lodge for another transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.

As you reminiscence on the gorilla experience, have your breakfast and prepare for another road transfer. The transfer will take about 5 hours to Queen Elizabeth national park. Drive through the Ishasha sector with a chance to spot the tree climbing lions. Arrive in time for lunch and get ready for a refreshing boat experience via the Kazinga water channel. The channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George, with a variety of aquatic wild life. Have a sight of parks wildlife while on the cruise, from the water mammals Like the Hippos, offshore game from antelopes, elephants and many more. After you will drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to kibale national park, Bigodi wetland sanctuary visit

After a hearty breakfast get ready for a transfer to the primate capital of the world; But first you will enjoy an early morning game drive in the kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth national park; View a number of wild game from Elephants, antelopes, warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes and more.
After the early morning game drive experience, prepare for a transfer to Kibale national park. The transfer will take approximately 3 hours, reaching early for relaxation and chills. Check in at the lodge for lunch as you prepare for an evening sanctuary walk.
The visit to Bigodi wetland sanctuary is a worth while with plenty of wildlife view. Enjoy a calm walk through the beautiful trails of the sanctuary with rewarding views of various bird species from the re-known great blue Turaco, parrots, hornbills, kingfishers and more.
Besides being a haven of over 200 species, you will sight about 8 primates species from the Blue monkeys, vervet monkey, black and white colobus monkeys and more.

Wake up early for breakfast and get ready to track down man’s closest cousins; chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Begin with a briefing at the kanyanchu visitors center for guidelines while on the track. After you will embark on a 2 – 5 hours journey to search for a chimpanzee family, all depending on their location. Upon finding one, you will spend one hour interacting with the chimpanzees, witnessing their forest life from their social interactions, playfulness, feeding habits and more.
After this experience you will prepare for a road transfer back to Entebbe international airport for a drop off.
