Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will embark on a morning game drive in the Seronera area. This is an excellent time to witness the morning activities of the Serengeti's wildlife, as many animals are most active during the cooler hours. You may see predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs on the hunt, as well as large herds of herbivores like zebras and wildebeest grazing on the plains. You will also look out for elephants, giraffes, and various bird species.

Around midday, you will return to the camp for lunch. Afterward, you will pack up and begin your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we drive, you will continue wildlife viewing, taking in the diverse landscapes and wildlife of the Serengeti. Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater, we will set up camp at the Wild camp, located near the crater rim. The campsite offers breathtaking views of the crater and the surrounding highlands.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha city

After an early breakfast, you will descend more than 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive in one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas. The crater is a self-contained ecosystem with permanent water and rich grazing that supports a wide variety of animals throughout the year. On the crater floor, you may see wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, eland, warthogs, hippos, and large African elephants moving across the plains and swamps.

Ngorongoro is also famous for its high concentration of predators. During your exploration, there is a good chance to spot lions, spotted hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and, with some luck, leopards resting in the shadows or stalking prey. The area offers excellent chances to observe natural predator-prey interactions.

A key stop is Lake Magadi in the southwestern section of the crater. This shallow alkaline lake attracts flocks of flamingos and other water birds, while hippos can often be seen submerged in the shallow waters.
