Dar es salaam to Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Dar es Salaam and a transfer to Mwl Julius Nyerere International Airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon landing at 9:20 am, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide, who will provide a brief overview of the exciting journey ahead.

After the briefing, you will set off on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of rolling grasslands, iconic baobab trees, traditional Maasai homesteads, and herds of livestock tended by local pastoralists.

Known for its remarkable elephant population and majestic baobab trees, Tarangire is also home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, and a variety of other wildlife. After a picnic lunch in the park, continue with an afternoon game drive in search of more incredible sightings before heading to Farm of Dream Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti national park

After breakfast, you will begin your journey to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. The drive takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will enjoy spectacular views of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater from several viewpoints along the route.

As you travel across the vast plains, keep an eye out for wildlife, as animals are often seen grazing throughout the area. You will stop en route to enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing deeper into the Serengeti.

Arriving in the park during the late afternoon, you will have the opportunity to take in the stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife before heading to Warriors Luxury Tented Camp, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Today marks your final day in Serengeti National Park. After an early breakfast, you will set out with a packed lunch for a morning game drive, giving you one last opportunity to explore the park’s vast plains and search for its incredible wildlife. As you travel through the Serengeti, take in the breathtaking scenery, diverse landscapes, and unforgettable animal sightings that make this park one of the most iconic safari destinations in the world.

After the game drive, you will continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, enjoying additional wildlife viewing opportunities along the way. A picnic lunch will be served en route before you proceed through the beautiful highland landscapes.

In the late afternoon, you will arrive at Farm of Dreams Lodge, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night in comfort.

Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, you will depart from your lodge and head to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for your final safari experience. Descending approximately 600 meters to the crater floor, you will explore one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife havens, renowned for its stunning scenery and exceptional concentration of animals.

The crater is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and, with a bit of luck, the rare and endangered black rhino. As you enjoy your game drive, your guide will help you spot and learn about the many species that inhabit this natural wonder.

A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic site near the famous hippo pool. After lunch, you will continue with your final wildlife viewing and photography opportunities before ascending the crater and driving back to Arusha. From there, you will catch your flight to Zanzibar, bringing your unforgettable safari adventure to a close.
