Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which flows through its landscape and serves as a vital water source for wildlife, especially during the dry season.
Enjoy an exciting game drive as you explore the park’s diverse habitats, home to large herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of bird species. Tarangire is also famous for its ancient baobab trees and occasional sightings of African pythons resting in the branches of trees.
With excellent opportunities for wildlife photography, you will have plenty of chances to capture unforgettable moments against the backdrop of the park’s stunning scenery. After your game drive, continue to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at Farm of Dreams Lodge.

Your first visit will be with the Hadzabe people, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in East Africa. Accompanied by local guides, you will learn about their traditional way of life, survival skills, and deep connection with the natural environment. You may also have the opportunity to join them on a morning hunting excursion and gain firsthand insight into their ancient customs and techniques.
Later, visit the Datoga community, a semi-nomadic pastoralist tribe renowned for their exceptional blacksmithing craftsmanship. Discover their traditions, observe their metalworking skills, and learn about their rich cultural heritage.
You will also have time to explore the scenic surroundings of Lake Eyasi, visit nearby villages, and experience authentic rural Tanzanian life.

Today marks the final day of your 9-day private Tanzania safari and cultural tour. After breakfast, take time to check your luggage and prepare for your onward journey.
You will then be transferred to either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your departure flight. Alternatively, you may choose to extend your adventure with a relaxing beach holiday in Zanzibar.
Your safari experience concludes with a drop-off at the airport, marking the end of an unforgettable journey through Tanzania’s wildlife, landscapes, and cultural heritage.
