Exploring Serengeti National Park from Arusha

Serengeti National Park, whose name is derived from the Maasai word Siringitu meaning “endless plains,” is one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. As you travel across its vast savannahs, you will enjoy incredible game viewing opportunities and may spot predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs roaming freely in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, you will arrive in the wildlife-rich Seronera Valley in Central Serengeti. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at a safari camp, where you can relax and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the African wilderness.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, exploring its vast plains and diverse wildlife. You may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebras, as well as predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Following a picnic lunch, continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon reaching the crater rim, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at a camp or lodge on the crater rim, where you can enjoy spectacular scenery and a memorable sunset overlooking the caldera.

Ngorongoro Crater Then Back to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive. Enjoy exploring the crater floor and its diverse habitats before beginning your journey back to Arusha in the afternoon.
