Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive southest towards Tsavo East National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. After lunch and some relaxation, embark on your first afternoon game drive through the vast wilderness of Tsavo East. The park is renowned for its large herds of red-dust elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and numerous bird species. Explore the famous Aruba dam area, where wildlife frequently gathers to drink. As the sun sets over the African savannah return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Full day in Tsavo East National Park

Full day in Tsavo East National Park

Begin the day with an early morning game drive when predators are most active and wildlife viewing is at its best. Return to the lodge for breakfast before continuing with a mid-morning safari. Visit some of the park's iconic attractions, including the Galana River and the scenic Yatta plateau, the world's longest lava flow. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, elephants, ostriches and various bird species. Enjoy lunch at the lodge followed by leisure time before heading out for another afternoon game drive to discover different sections of the park. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Enjoy an early breakfast before a final game drive en route to Tsavo West National Park. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon explore the dramatic landscapes of Tsavo West, characterized by volcanic hills, lava flows, and dense vegetation. Visit the famous Shetani Lava flow, a vast expanse of black volcanic rock formed centuries ago. Continue with a game drive in search of elephants, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes and other wildlife before returning to the lodge at sunset.

Tsavo West National Park - Nairobi

Start the day with an early morning game drive and a visit to Mzima Springs, one of Tsavo West's most famous attractions. The crystal-clear springs support hippos, crocodiles, fish and a rich variety of birdlife. Proceed to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary for a chance to spot the endangered black rhino in its protected habitat. Afterward, enjoy breakfast and check out of the lodge before beginning your journey back to Nairobi. Stop for lunch en route and arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
