Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from Kigali International Airport or your hotel in Kigali. After a short briefing, embark on a scenic drive through Rwanda's beautiful countryside, known as the "Land of a Thousand Hills." Cross the Cyanika or Katuna border into Uganda and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of rolling hills, local villages, and terraced farmlands. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge, relax, and prepare for the exciting gorilla trekking experience the following day. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Gorilla Trekking and Return to Kigali

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Begin your gorilla trekking adventure through the dense rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek may take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the gorillas' location. Once found, spend one unforgettable hour observing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat. After the trek, receive your gorilla trekking certificate and return to the lodge for lunch. Later, begin the journey back to Kigali, arriving in the evening for drop-off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport.
