After crossing into Uganda, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its dense rainforest and endangered mountain gorillas. Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. During the briefing, you will learn about gorilla trekking rules, safety guidelines, and the assigned gorilla family you will visit. Equipped with your trekking gear, begin your adventure through the dense rainforest in search of the mountain gorillas.

The trek can take anywhere from a few hours to most of the day depending on the location of the gorilla family. As you hike through the forest, your guide will point out various bird species, primates, and unique vegetation. Upon locating the gorillas, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them as they feed, play, groom, and interact within their family group. This close encounter with one of the world's most endangered species is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
