Day 2

After a breakfast you will travel to Tarangire national park, Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through this diverse ecosystem, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, and a variety of birdlife. Stop for a picnic lunch at a designated site within the park, surrounded by nature. Continue your game drive into the afternoon, exploring Tarangire rivers, grasslands, and woodlands. Day 4

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Home to an incredible variety of wildlife, the Serengeti offers excellent opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and many antelope species. Depending on the season, you may witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration as thousands of animals move across the plains in search of fresh grazing and water. The park is also renowned for its predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, which are often seen hunting or resting on the open savannah. After an extensive day of wildlife viewing and exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti, return to the Seronera public campsites for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

Early risers are rewarded with breathtaking views of the rising sun over the crater’s edge and, after a hearty breakfast, you will drive down the adventurous track into the crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the seven wonders of Africa and the most incredible ecosystems on earth, formed millions of years ago in the massive explosion of a volcano. It is 610 m deep and covers roughly 260 square kilometers. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25 000, the crater offers the best game viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. In a matter of minutes, you will be able to see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. With a little bit of luck, you might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass. After lunch, you will ascend the steep walls of the crater and head to fig tree lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
