Guided game drive in Tarangire

Depart early morning from Arusha toward Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival at the park gate, complete entry formalities and begin your full-day game drive, searching for Tarangire's famous large elephant herds congregating along the Tarangire River. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and impalas roaming the open savanna, and take in the iconic baobab tree landscapes unique to Tarangire. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive deeper into the park's diverse ecosystems, including its swamps and riverine forests. Watch for tree-climbing lions and over 550 bird species, including the yellow-collared lovebird. Begin your full-day game drive across the vast golden plains of the central Serengeti (Seronera Valley), tracking the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — and, depending on the season, witnessing the spectacle of the Great Migration as millions of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains. Visit the Seronera River area, one of the best spots for leopard and hippo sightings, and enjoy a gourmet bush picnic lunch in the heart of the Serengeti. Guided game drive in ngorongoro

Begin with an optional early morning game drive in the Serengeti at sunrise, the best time to spot predators on the hunt, before returning to the lodge for breakfast and setting off on a scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Pass through the dramatic Serengeti landscape as it transitions into highland forests, with an optional stop at the Olduvai Gorge Museum, one of the world's most important paleoanthropological sites, where early human fossils were discovered. Enjoy lunch en route at a scenic stopover or local restaurant, then continue winding up through lush montane forests to the Ngorongoro crater rim. Arrive at camp perched high on the rim, taking in stunning views over the 600-metre deep caldera, and spend the evening with an optional walk around the rim (where permitted) or simply relaxing and soaking in the highland atmosphere. Dinner and overnight under a magnificent highland sky at Kuhama Camp, Ngorongoro.

Following an early morning wake-up call and hot breakfast, descend 600 metres into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders, for a full-day game drive across its 260 sq km of pristine wilderness on the crater floor. Search for the endangered black rhino, one of the last stable populations in East Africa, and spot large lion prides, elephant bulls, hippos wallowing in the crater lakes, and golden jackals, along with thousands of flamingos wading in the shallow soda waters of Lake Magadi. Enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch at the designated hippo pool picnic site on the crater floor, then continue with an afternoon game drive in search of leopards on the crater walls and buffalo herds on the plains.
