1-Day Gorilla Trek in Uganda

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Your adventure begins very early in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel or Kigali International Airport in Kigali at approximately 3:00 AM. Meet your professional driver-guide and depart for southwestern Uganda through Rwanda's scenic countryside.

Upon arrival at the Uganda border, complete immigration formalities and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Reach the park headquarters in time for the gorilla trekking briefing conducted by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers.

After the briefing, venture into the dense rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek may take between 2 and 6 hours depending on the gorillas' location.

Following the trek, return to the park headquarters to receive your gorilla trekking certificate before beginning your journey back to Kigali. Arrive in the evening and transfer to your hotel or Kigali International Airport for your onward travel.
