Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at the airport, a friendly representative from Kilipath African Safaris will be there to greet you and transfer you comfortably to your accommodation in Arusha. Take the rest of the day to relax, settle in, and recover from your journey as you prepare for the exciting adventure ahead.

Nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha is known as the gateway to Tanzania’s renowned northern safari circuit. Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your Kilipath African Safaris guide will pick you up from your accommodation and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful wildlife destinations. Famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, the park offers excellent game-viewing opportunities.

During your game drive, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a variety of antelope species. Lions, leopards, and numerous bird species can also be spotted throughout the park. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the stunning African wilderness before continuing your afternoon safari.

Later in the day, you will leave the park and travel to your campsite near Karatu, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint to enjoy stunning views of one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders before continuing toward the Serengeti.

Famous for its endless plains and incredible wildlife, Serengeti National Park offers some of the best game-viewing opportunities in Africa. The park is home to a wide variety of animals, including lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Depending on the season, you may also witness part of the Great Migration, one of the world's most impressive wildlife spectacles.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the journey and continue with an afternoon game drive as you head to your campsite. Spend the evening relaxing in the heart of the African wilderness, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Explore the park’s vast plains and diverse habitats, which support an incredible variety of animals, including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and numerous antelope species.

As you travel through the Serengeti, keep watch for its renowned predators, such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, often seen roaming the open savannah. Every game drive offers unique wildlife encounters and spectacular scenery, making each moment of your safari special.

Day 5

Ngorongoro crater

After breakfast, you will depart for the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying scenic wildlife viewing along the way. Upon arrival, you will descend 600 meters into the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its exceptional concentration of wildlife.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder, featuring open grasslands, acacia forests, freshwater springs, and seasonal wetlands.
During your game drive on the crater floor, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, and elephants, along with an impressive variety of birdlife. The crater is also one of the best places in Tanzania to spot the endangered black rhino in its natural habitat.

After a rewarding afternoon of wildlife viewing and a picnic lunch, you will ascend from the crater and continue to your campsite near Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for your final game drive. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is known for its beautiful landscapes, diverse wildlife, and abundant birdlife. During your safari, you may spot elephants, giraffes, baboons, hippos, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions.

Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the park’s stunning scenery before continuing your wildlife viewing adventure.

In the afternoon, you will leave the park and transfer to Arusha, Arusha Airport, or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your memorable safari with Kilipath African Safaris.
