Explore the vast plains in search of predators returning from their nightly hunts, as well as grazing herbivores beginning their day.

After the game drive, enjoy breakfast and begin your journey to Karatu, a charming town located near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, take in the stunning scenery of the Tanzanian countryside. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge, relax, and enjoy dinner before settling in for an overnight stay in preparation for the next day’s crater adventure.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, contains the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and supports abundant wildlife throughout the year. The crater also hosts diverse birdlife, including flamingos, eagles, storks, and buzzards around its lakes and wetlands. After your game drive and picnic lunch, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian safari.
