Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll start your thrilling safari with a convenient pickup along Biashara Street near Nairobi City Market between 7- 7.30 AM. After a brief orientation, you will proceed to the vehicle. At 8:00 am, you embark on a scenic journey towards the Masai Mara. Stop briefly at the breathtaking Great Rift Valley viewpoint for stunning panoramic views and photo opportunities.

At around 1:30 pm, you arrive at your camp/lodge for a relaxing lunch and a refreshing break. Around 4:00 pm, you proceed on an exhilarating afternoon game drive, searching for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo) and other incredible wildlife. You'll drive back to your camp/lodge to enjoy a delicious dinner and a night's stay at your camp/lodge.

Masai Mara National Reserve

This is a busy day! After a hearty early morning breakfast, armed with your picnic lunch. You embark on a thrilling game drive through the heart of the Masai Mara, renowned for its vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. The morning light is ideal for spotting wildlife as they become active, and you may have the opportunity to witness the iconic Sunrise while in the Park.

As you explore the diverse landscapes of the park, keep your eyes peeled for the Big Five and a variety of other wildlife, including cheetahs, hyenas, and giraffes. At around midday, you'll enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch amidst the stunning savanna, surrounded by the sounds of nature. After lunch, you continue your wildlife adventure, possibly witnessing the dramatic Mara River crossings (seasonal- happens between July and September). You return to your camp/lodge for another memorable dinner and share stories of your incredible day with fellow travelers. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at your camp/lodge.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the Masai people with a visit to a traditional Masai village (Optional activity 10$ to 20$ paid at the village). This unique experience offers a glimpse into their authentic way of life, where you'll witness their traditions, intricate beadwork, and harmonious coexistence with nature.

You'll have the opportunity to interact with the friendly Masai people, learn about their customs and beliefs, and even participate in traditional dances and songs. It's a truly unforgettable cultural encounter that will leave a lasting impression on both you and the host community.

You check out at around 8:30 am and drive to Nakuru via Naivasha. You will have lunch en route, proceed to Nakuru (you can opt to do an optional boat ride safari on Lake Naivasha (Approx. 20$ each extra, need to mention to guide if interested in advance), arrive at around 5:00 pm. You'll be dropped off at your hotel/lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha

After an early breakfast, you will proceed to the park where you will see a lot of flamingos among other birds. About 350 species recorded. This is also home to the black and the white rhinoceros. The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino, and is also home to Columbus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plains antelopes. Later in the afternoon, you drive to Naivasha, arriving in time for a late lunch. You can enjoy a boat ride at Lake Naivasha for about 1 hour, which is included. There is an optional walking tour at Crescent Island with an extra cost if interested. Your dinner and your overnight stay will be at Hotel Chambai Safari.

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, you'll proceed to Hells Gate National Park, where you will have a chance to visit the Geothermal Power Plant in Olkaria and the Hot Springs. This is the only park that allows transport by walking and cycling. Later, with a picnic lunch on the way, you will depart for Amboseli, arriving in the evening. If time allows, you will proceed for an evening game drive and return for dinner and an overnight stay at Manjaro tented camp or similar.

Drive back to Nairobi

On your last day, you will wake up very early to prepare for the morning game drive inside Amboseli National Park.
