Nairobi – Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. After a brief stop at a viewpoint, continue to the Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive across the rolling plains of the reserve. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and big cats as you begin exploring one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Return to your lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Great Migration Safari

After an early breakfast, depart with packed lunch for a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara. Spend the day tracking the Great Migration herds as they move across the savannah in search of greener pastures. Depending on the season and animal movements, you may witness the dramatic Mara River crossing, where thousands of wildebeest and zebra brave strong currents and crocodile-infested waters. Throughout the day, your guide will also search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other predators that follow the migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your wildlife adventure. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
