Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park Via Arusha

Upon arrival at Arusha Airport from Zanzibar, your safari guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to Tarangire National Park for an exciting game drive. Renowned for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers spectacular wildlife viewing in a beautiful natural setting.

As you explore the park, you may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, waterbucks, and a variety of antelope species. The park is also a paradise for bird enthusiasts, featuring species such as the Maasai ostrich, white-headed vulture, African scops owl, and the endemic ashy starling.

After enjoying a picnic lunch in the park, continue your wildlife adventure before heading to Suricata Boma Lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater - Flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast at Suricata Boma Lodge, depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. Descend into the crater floor, a vast wildlife sanctuary formed within an ancient volcanic caldera and home to an incredible concentration of animals.

During your game drive, you may encounter lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, hartebeests, and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino. The crater is also renowned for its rich birdlife, including grey-crowned cranes, lappet-faced vultures, kori bustards, Fischer’s lovebirds, and many other fascinating species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic site within the crater before continuing your wildlife viewing. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, bringing your unforgettable honeymoon safari to a memorable close.
