Day 1
Nairobi to Maasai Mara Game Reserves
Nairobi to Maasai Mara Game Reserves
You'll have an early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve.
It holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of wildebeest, zebras and attendant predators. You'll arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive.
Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the campsite or lodge.

Day 2-3
Maasai Mara Safari
Maasai Mara Safari
After breakfast, we will have a full day game drive with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lion as well as abundant resident wildlife. It is one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a morning's game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame that they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey.
For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 of bustard (including the kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.
Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the campsite or lodge.

Maasai Mara to Serengeti
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve, enjoying wildlife sightings as you gradually exit the reserve. After completing border formalities, continue your journey into Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.
En route, you may choose to stop at the renowned Olduvai Gorge, one of the most significant paleoanthropological sites in the world. Here, you’ll attend a brief lecture explaining the geology and archaeological discoveries made by Louis Leakey and Mary Leakey, followed by time to explore the small on-site museum.
Although this is a long travel day, the game drives while exiting the Masai Mara and entering the Serengeti often provide remarkable wildlife encounters.

Day 5-6
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
Enjoy two full days of exploration in Serengeti National Park, with a flexible schedule and unlimited game-drive mileage. As you crest the hills and the landscape opens before you, the vast Serengeti plains stretch endlessly to the horizon—true to the meaning of its name in Kiswahili, “endless plains.”
Covering approximately 18,000 square kilometers, the Serengeti supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including more than two million large mammals. Vast herds of wildebeest, plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles dominate the ecosystem, attracting predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. The park is also home to a wide variety of smaller mammals and nearly 500 bird species, making every game drive rich and diverse.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive en route to your campsite or lodge. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at either a public campsite or a private tented camp or lodge, depending on your selected option.

Day 7
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
We recommend an early wake-up call today to enjoy a dawn game drive, when wildlife is most active and the Serengeti sunrise paints the plains in spectacular colors. After the morning safari, return to camp for a well-earned brunch before continuing your journey toward Ngorongoro Crater.
Often described as the “Eighth Wonder of the Natural World,” the crater spans approximately 102 square miles and is enclosed by dramatic walls rising nearly 2,000 feet. This natural amphitheater supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife and is one of the few places in Africa where the endangered black rhino can be seen. The crater floor features diverse habitats, including rivers, swamps, open grasslands, forest patches, and a soda lake that attracts large flocks of flamingos. It is also renowned for its impressive elephant bulls, some bearing remarkably large tusks.
Arrive in the Ngorongoro area in time to enjoy a relaxing sundowner overlooking the surrounding landscapes.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Begin the day with an early morning game drive before breakfast, when wildlife is most active and the sunrise over the savannah creates a truly unforgettable scene. After the safari, return to camp for a relaxed brunch before continuing your journey to Ngorongoro Crater.
With crater walls rising nearly 2,000 feet and a floor covering approximately 102 square miles, Ngorongoro forms a natural wildlife sanctuary often described as a modern-day Noah’s Ark. It is home to almost every species native to East Africa, including the rare black rhino. The crater features an exceptional variety of habitats—rivers, swamps, open plains, forests, and a soda lake that attracts large flocks of flamingos. The area is also renowned for its impressive bull elephants, many of which carry exceptionally large tusks due to the mineral-rich volcanic soils.
In the afternoon we return back to Arusha for your onward journey.
