Day 1

Arusha-Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, leave Arusha and travel across the picturesque Maasai countryside toward Tarangire National Park, often referred to as the “Land of Giants” due to its impressive elephant population. The park is also renowned for its ancient baobab trees and the Tarangire River, which attracts large numbers of animals throughout the year.

Spend the day exploring the park on morning and afternoon game drives, with excellent chances of spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, and numerous bird species. Tarangire is celebrated for its remarkable wildlife density and is considered one of Tanzania’s most rewarding safari destinations, particularly during the dry season.

Stop for a picnic lunch at a designated site within the park, where you can enjoy the surrounding wilderness and wildlife views. In the late afternoon, continue to your lodge near Mto wa Mbu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning pickup from your hotel.
Drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands with scenic views en route to Serengeti.
You will take a break for a hot lunch at Serengeti Naabi Hill Gate, then proceed to check in for an afternoon game drive.
Afternoon game drive in Serengeti’s vast savannah, searching for lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and more.
As the sunset you will make your way to the accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Start the day with an early breakfast at 6:00 am before heading out for a morning game drive in the Serengeti. This is one of the best times to witness the spectacular sunrise and observe predators as they are most active during the cooler hours of the day.

After returning for brunch, continue your safari with en-route game viewing while traveling toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the journey, you may choose to visit a traditional Maasai village and experience the local culture at no additional charge.

Day 4

Enjoy an early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater at around 6:00 am for a full day of wildlife viewing. The crater floor is one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife habitats, offering excellent opportunities to spot black rhinos, lions, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, flamingos, and many other species in their natural environment.

A picnic lunch will be served at the scenic Hippo Pool picnic site within the crater. After lunch, continue with a short game drive before beginning your journey back to Arusha, where you will arrive in the evening.

If you have a scheduled flight on this day, we will transfer you directly to the airport. Otherwise, we will drop you off at your independently booked hotel in Arusha.
