epart Kigali and embark on a scenic 2-3 hour drive through Rwanda’s rolling terraced hills toward the Uganda border. Arrive at the Katuna border post. Clear immigration customs for both Rwanda and Uganda

Continue your journey into Uganda via Kabale. The drive offers stunning vistas of the Kigezi highlands. Arrive at your designated sector lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Enjoy a hot lunch at the lodge. Spend the afternoon relaxing, acclimatizing to the altitude, and prepping your trekking gear. Detailed briefing from your guide regarding the next morning's trek. Sleep early to prepare for the adventure ahead.

Gorilla Trekking, Lake Bunyonyi Views, & Return to Kigali

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the lodge and pick up your packed lunch boxes. Transfer to the UWA briefing point. Meet your park rangers, receive guidelines, and get assigned to your specific gorilla family group.

Enter the ancient rainforest. The trek can last between 2 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Upon location, spend 1 unforgettable hour observing the gentle giants.

Return to the park headquarters to receive your official Gorilla Tracking Certificate. Meet your driver-guide. Set off from Bwindi and drive toward Kabale, heading directly to Africa's second-deepest lake. Arrive at a lakeside resort on Lake Bunyonyi. Enjoy a late lunch featuring fresh local dishes while taking in spectacular views of the 29 islands.

Depart Lake Bunyonyi and drive back to Rwanda and proceed to Kigali. Drop-off at your preferred hotel or Kigali International Airport for your evening departure flight.
