Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha, heading to Tarangire National Park for a full game drive. This day begins early with a sunrise game drive across the Serengeti plains, when wildlife is most active and the golden light enhances the beauty of the landscape. You explore different sections of the central Serengeti in search of predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as grazing herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. The morning offers excellent chances for dramatic wildlife encounters, as predators often complete hunts during the cooler hours of the day. After a relaxed bush lunch or return to camp for a short rest depending on timing, you begin your journey back toward Karatu. The drive takes you once again through the Ngorongoro highlands, offering scenic views and occasional wildlife sightings along the way. As you descend toward Karatu, the landscape becomes greener and more cultivated. You arrive in the late afternoon and check into your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay, enjoying a comfortable rest after a full day of safari activity.

After an early breakfast, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater floor is one of Africa’s richest wildlife areas, home to the Big Five and a dense concentration of animals including buffalo, lions, hyenas, hippos, zebras, and the endangered black rhino.
After a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, ascend the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha.
