The morning offers excellent chances for dramatic wildlife encounters, as predators often complete hunts during the cooler hours of the day. After a relaxed bush lunch or return to camp for a short rest depending on timing, you begin your journey back toward Karatu. The drive takes you once again through the Ngorongoro highlands, offering scenic views and occasional wildlife sightings along the way.
