Morning: Our professional driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe in a private 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof. We journey northwest through refreshing tea plantations and local trading markets.
Afternoon: Arrive in the beautiful tourism city of Fort Portal for lunch. Afterwards, we take an optional scenic hike through the stunning Fort Portal Crater Lake Field and explore the mystical Amabere Ga' Nnyinamwiru Caves.
Evening: Check into your lodge on the edge of the Kibale rainforest. Unwind to the evening calls of the jungle.

Day 2

Morning: Early breakfast, then transfer to the Kanyanchu Park Headquarters. After a brief ranger orientation, you will head deep into Kibale National Park to track some of its wild chimpanzees. Once located, you will spend an unforgettable one hour observing them swing from branches, groom, and play just meters away.
Afternoon: Return to the lodge for lunch. Later, take a guided nature walk through the community-run Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. This swamp is a haven for 8 species of primates (including the stunning Great Blue Turaco) and rare birds.
Evening: Relax at your lodge and enjoy dinner.

Day 3

Morning: After breakfast, we depart Kibale and drive south along the foothills of the majestic Rwenzori Mountains, crossing the Equator line.
Afternoon: Arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park and check into your lodge for lunch. In the evening, board an exclusive boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel. This natural channel links Lake Edward and Lake George and boasts the world's highest concentration of hippos, massive Nile crocodiles, and herds of elephants and buffaloes coming down to drink.
Evening: Wind down with a short sunset game drive on your way back to the lodge.

Morning: An early morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains. This is the perfect time to catch predators like leopards and lions on the hunt, alongside thousands of Ugandan kobs, waterbucks, and giant forest hogs.
Afternoon: After a hearty brunch, we drive south to the park's remote Ishasha Sector. This area is famous worldwide for its unique tree-climbing lions, who love to spend the hot afternoons lazing high up in the branches of giant fig trees.
Evening: Head to your lodge near the sector for a sundowner drink looking over the wilderness.

Day 5

Morning: Take a brief morning walk or final mini-game drive to bid farewell to the savanna. We then begin our journey back to Kampala/Entebbe.
Afternoon: We stop at the Uganda Equator Line in Kayabwe for lunch, an interactive water experiment demonstration, and a chance to pick up locally made souvenirs.
Evening: Arrive back in Kampala or Entebbe International Airport late in the evening.
