Depart Nairobi early in the morning and travel southwest through the scenic Great Rift Valley, enjoying views of escarpments, farmlands, and Maasai settlements along the way. Arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the rolling savannahs, where lions, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of herbivores roam freely. As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 2

Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s richest wildlife ecosystems. After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive when predators are most active, tracking lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Later, enjoy a picnic lunch within the reserve, allowing extended time in prime wildlife areas near rivers and open plains. The afternoon game drive continues deeper into the reserve, offering opportunities to witness dramatic wildlife interactions. Return to camp in the evening for dinner, relaxation, and a second overnight in the Mara.

Day 3

After breakfast, depart Masai Mara and drive toward the Kenya–Tanzania border at Isebania for immigration formalities. Continue into Tanzania and proceed to Serengeti National Park, entering one of the world’s most famous wildlife areas. Enjoy an en-route game drive as you head to your lodge, spotting plains game and predators across the endless grasslands. Arrive in the late afternoon, settle in, and enjoy dinner and overnight inside or near the Serengeti.

Today is dedicated to extensive game viewing in the Serengeti. After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive through vast open plains and rocky kopjes, prime habitats for lions and cheetahs. The Serengeti is renowned for its immense herds and dramatic landscapes, offering exceptional photography opportunities. Enjoy lunch at the lodge or as a picnic, followed by an afternoon game drive covering different sectors of the park. As the day ends, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight, reflecting on the day’s wildlife encounters.

Continue to your lodge in the Ngorongoro or Karatu area, where you can relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the following day’s crater exploration.
