Fly from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you will transfer to Entebbe Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to the Bwindi region. The flight offers spectacular aerial views of Uganda's rolling hills, lakes, and lush countryside.
Upon arrival at the nearby airstrip, your Lavida Africa Safaris guide will welcome you and transfer you to your lodge. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge or enjoy an optional community visit to learn about the traditions and culture of the local people living around Bwindi Forest.
Spend the evening enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the rainforest while preparing for the next day's gorilla trekking adventure.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Forest

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a comprehensive briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Following the briefing, you will enter the forest in search of a habituated gorilla family.
The trek may take between two and eight hours depending on the location of the gorillas. As you hike through the dense forest, your guides will share fascinating information about the park's wildlife, plants, and conservation efforts.

Once the gorillas are located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. Watching these gentle giants feed, play, and interact with one another is a truly emotional and life-changing experience.
After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation and celebration of your achievement.

Fly Back to Entebbe
