Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi as you journey south through Kenya’s scenic countryside toward Amboseli National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of rural landscapes, local communities, and the expansive plains that characterize this remarkable region.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and check-in relax and enjoy the surroundings. Later in the afternoon, set out on your first game drive through Amboseli’s diverse habitats of open plains, swamps, and acacia woodlands. Famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the park offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of bird species.

As the afternoon light softens across the landscape, continue exploring the park before returning to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Day in Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart with packed lunches for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park, allowing ample time to explore its diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife without returning to the lodge. Traverse the park’s open plains, seasonal swamps, and acacia woodlands in search of its famous elephant herds, as well as lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species.

Throughout the day, enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro when weather conditions permit, creating exceptional photography opportunities. Your guide will lead you through different wildlife-rich areas while sharing insights into the park’s unique ecosystem and animal behavior. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated scenic location within the park before continuing your exploration through the afternoon.

As the day draws to a close, return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Amboseli – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel toward Lake Naivasha, passing through Kenya’s ever-changing landscapes of open plains, rural settlements, and scenic Rift Valley viewpoints. The journey offers a chance to appreciate the country’s remarkable diversity before arriving in Naivasha in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge.

The afternoon is at leisure, allowing you to relax and enjoy the peaceful lakeside atmosphere. Alternatively, you may choose from a range of optional activities, including a boat ride on Lake Naivasha to view hippos and abundant birdlife, or a guided nature walk among giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other free-roaming wildlife.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Traverse the reserve’s vast plains, rolling grasslands, and riverine habitats in search of the Big Five, as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest and antelope.
