Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha.

After some time to relax, enjoy a guided city tour featuring the Cultural Heritage Centre, the vibrant Maasai Market, and a brief exploration of Arusha town. This cultural experience offers a wonderful introduction to Tanzania before your safari adventure begins.

Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to Arusha Airport for your scenic local flight to Kogatende Airstrip in the northern part of Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, your private safari guide will warmly welcome you, with your picnic lunchbox ready for the adventure ahead.

You will then begin your first thrilling game drive in the Northern Serengeti, one of the best locations to witness the world-famous great wildebeest migration, especially between July and October. This region is renowned for the dramatic Mara River crossings, where massive herds of wildebeest and zebras brave crocodile-filled waters in a breathtaking display of survival — truly one of Africa’s most unforgettable wildlife spectacles.

Later, begin your journey toward Central Serengeti, passing through the park’s vast plains and diverse landscapes. Along the way, enjoy game viewing opportunities as you search for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife that call the Serengeti home.

Arrive in Central Serengeti in the evening and settle into your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. Known as one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations, the crater is home to the Big Five, as well as zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and a wide variety of bird species.

Enjoy wildlife viewing across the crater floor and stop for a picnic lunch near the famous hippo pool while taking in the stunning scenery.
