Addis Ababa – Dinsho Bale Mountains Entrance

Leave Addis Ababa in the morning and drive through the Ethiopian Highlands, passing traditional villages, fertile farmland, and beautiful mountain scenery. Arrive at Dinsho, the gateway to Bale Mountains National Park, and set up camp. You will stay in a spacious mid-range safari tent measuring more than 3 x 3 meters, furnished with comfortable normal beds and quality bedding. Shared campsite facilities are available, while our experienced camping crew handles camp setup, meal preparation, cleaning, and all camp chores. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk to spot mountain nyala, warthogs, and endemic birds.

After breakfast, travel to the spectacular Sanetti Plateau, one of Africa's highest alpine landscapes and the best place to search for the endangered Ethiopian wolf. Explore the Afro-alpine moorlands, giant lobelias, and dramatic mountain scenery while looking for giant mole-rats and endemic birds. Return to your spacious mid-range safari tent, featuring comfortable normal beds and quality bedding. Shared campsite facilities are provided, and our dedicated camping staff will prepare meals and take care of every camp chore for a relaxing evening.

Sanetti Plateau – Harenna Forest

Descend into the lush Harenna Forest, where the scenery changes from alpine plateau to dense rainforest. Walk through ancient forest trails in search of colobus monkeys, bushbuck, and colorful birdlife while learning about the surrounding Oromo communities. Overnight in a spacious mid-range safari tent measuring over 3 x 3 meters with comfortable normal beds and quality bedding. Shared campsite facilities are available, and our experienced crew manages camp setup, cooking, cleaning, and all camping duties throughout your stay.
