Arrival and Transfer To Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to Karibu Entebbe. Check into your accommodation, refresh and enjoy your meals and an over night rest.

Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to enjoy a stroll around Entebbe city, or visit Entebbe botanical gardens to seal the day in adventure.

Transfer to Mbarara and Igongo cultural Experience

Enjoy your breakfast early morning and will be picked up by our guide driver to Mbarara. Enroute, you will have a stop over in Kayabwe, for stretching and enjoying a photographic moment at the equator.
In the afternoon, you will arrive at Igongo cultural center located in Mbarara, the cultural heart of western Uganda.

Explore the rich heritage of the Ankole people, famous long-horned Ankole cattle, traditional homesteads, local markets, and vibrant music and dance. A visit here offers authentic rural experiences blended with warm Ugandan hospitality.

Later in the afternoon after your tour you will be transferred to Emburara farm Lodge. Check into your accommodation, refresh, enjoy dinner and a well deserved over night rest.

Exploration of Emburara Cultural Center

You will enjoy a hearty break fast and spend the rest of your morning exploring Emburara Farm Lodge, a unique destination that blends luxury with rich Ankole heritage. Expect immersive cultural experiences such as learning about the Ankole long-horned cattle, traditional herding practices, and storytelling around the Ankole lifestyle.
The lodge also offers interactive activities like milk processing, trying out local attire, and discovering indigenous foods. This visit provides a deep insight into the traditions of southwestern Uganda, offering a perfect balance of cultural learning and authentic farm life experiences.

After your experience, you will check out of your accommodation, enjoy lunch and will be transferred to Latitude 0 Hotel.
On arrival, you will check into your accommodation, refresh and enjoy lunch with an overnight rest.

Buganda Cultural Experience

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Mengo to visit Lubiri, the official palace of the Kabaka of Buganda, and Bulange, the administrative headquarters of the Buganda Kingdom. You will then visit the Kasubi Tombs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Buganda’s most important heritage centers, where former kings are buried. During this guided tour, you will explore the kingdom’s culture, history, customs, leadership, cultural artifacts, royal regalia, and architecture, while gaining insight into Buganda’s political structure, traditions, and influence on Uganda’s history.

Enjoy a local lunch before transferring to the Ndere Cultural Centre via Kampala’s Old Taxi Park, where you’ll experience the vibrant atmosphere of one of Uganda’s busiest transport hubs and gain an authentic glimpse into the city’s culture and daily life. Later, enjoy the Sherehe Show and dinner at the Ndere Cultural Centre before returning to your accommodation for an overnight stay.
