Gondar – Debark – Simien Mountain driving distance : 127km. 2 hours.
Fly from Addis Ababa to Gondar and drive to Debark, the headquarters of Simien Mountains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its dramatic landscapes and endemic wildlife.
Lunch in Debark at Ras Dashen hotel.
After completing park formalities, drive approximately 27 km to begin trekking through breathtaking escarpments, deep valleys, and highland grasslands to Sankaber Camp. Along the trail, encounter large troops of the endemic Gelada Baboon, found only in the Ethiopian Highlands.
Luggage’s always be in the car during the day until the next campsite.

In the morning got up at 6 AM for the morning wonderful hiking near to the camp for 40-50 minutes before breakfast served at 7 AM.
At 8 AM start the main trekking plan to enjoy one of the most scenic trekking routes in the Simien Mountains. Walk along spectacular cliff edges with panoramic views stretching across the Ethiopian Highlands. Visit the magnificent Jinbar Waterfall, plunging hundreds of meters into a dramatic canyon below. Pass traditional villages while searching for wildlife including Klipspringers, Menelik's Bushbuck, and numerous bird species.
Lunch: Open a lunch box at the breathtaking view point.
Trekking: 5–7 Hours (15 km)

Day 3

Gichi – Emet Gogo Viewpoint (3,929m) – Chennek Campsite
As usually start the day by getting up at 6 AM and hike nearby the camp for 40-50 minutes before breakfast served at 7 AM.
At 8 AM after breakfast start the main hiking and trekking program of the day to the legendary Emet Gogo Viewpoint, widely regarded as the most spectacular panorama in Ethiopia. From this breathtaking vantage point, admire endless escarpments, towering cliffs, deep gorges, and distant mountain peaks. Continue through dramatic high-altitude landscapes to Chenek, one of the best locations for spotting the rare and endangered Walia Ibex, Ethiopia’s iconic mountain goat.
Lunch: Open Lunch box at suggested open air view point
Trekking: 6–7 Hours (12–14 km)

Day 4
Chennek – Axum (Drive through Tekeze River Valley)

At this day we will enjoy the last mountain camp breakfast at 7 AM and Depart from Chenek head to Axum.
Driving distance 300 km to get to Axum.
Approximately 5 – 6 hrs.
Drive through northern Ethiopia's spectacular mountain scenery toward the ancient city of Axum, the capital of the powerful Axumite Kingdom.
Drive across various topography of Simien mountain and Tekeze river valley. On arrival in Axum Visit the famous Axum Obelisks, archaeological monuments dating back over 1,700 years As well as Kaleb Tomb & Ezana Stone.
Explore one of Africa's greatest ancient civilizations and learn about the city's connection to Ethiopian history and legends surrounding the Ark of the Covenant.
Overnight: Axum Hotel at Sabean Hotel, 3 star hotel.
Day 5

In the morning after early breakfast at 6:30 AM, leave the hotel at 7 AM to visit Church of Zion Marry where the arch of the covenant believed to be found here. Proceeds to Queen palace ruins.
Visiting duration : 2 hrs.
Departed from Axum at 9 AM and Continue driving to Geralta Hawzen through the dramatic landscapes of the Gheralta Mountains to visit the world-famous Abune Yemata Guh Rock-Hewn Church.
Arrive in Hawzen Geralta around 12:00 midday.

In the afternoon at 1:30 PM depart from the lodge for climbing adventure of steep cliffs and walk along narrow ledges to reach this extraordinary 6th-century church, renowned for its remarkably preserved biblical frescoes and breathtaking location.
Round trip : 3hrs
Back to the stunning Lodge for sunset and relaxing evening at 5 PM.

In the morning after breakfast at the hotel drive to Mekele for 100km approximately it takes 2hrs. At Mekele switch our Minibus to the 4wd for the next Danakil depression adventure. Then continue driving into the heart of the legendary Danakil Depression for 140km approximately 3-4hrs, one of the hottest and lowest places on Earth. Visit the colorful geothermal landscapes of Dallol, featuring vibrant mineral formations, sulfur springs, salt terraces, and surreal hydrothermal activity. Later, enjoy sunset views over Lake Asale, famous for its reflective salt flats and floating experience in the highly saline waters.
Lunch stop at ABA'Alla small town in Afar region.
Overnight: Ahmed Ela Camp under the billion star light.

Early morning exploration of the spectacular Dallol Depression, including active geothermal fields, colorful salt lakes, and traditional Afar salt mining operations. Visit the remarkable salt mountains before continuing across the lava desert to Erta Ale Volcano, one of the world's few continuously active volcanoes. After dinner, begin an evening trek to the summit rim where you can witness glowing lava activity and spectacular volcanic scenery under the stars.

In the morning before sunrise, Hike to the volcano rim for unforgettable views of the awakening desert and volcanic landscape.
Back to the camp for breakfast and prepare for leaving Danakil depression forever.
After breakfast drive to Semera through the Afar Region's dramatic desert scenery.
Stopover at Afdera for lunch and refreshing break. Swim at Lake Afdera which is like 10-14% salt water. Wash and cool your body at the fresh water after swimming. Then continue drivin to Semera to catch the evening flight to Addis Ababa. Upon arrival in Addis, transfer to your hotel or Addis Ababa International Airport for your international departure.
