Arrival at Entebbe International Airport – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide from WildPulse Adventures. After a brief meet-and-greet and safari briefing, begin your scenic journey to southwestern Uganda.

The drive takes you through beautiful rolling hills, lush farmlands, and traditional Ugandan villages. En route, stop at the Uganda Equator for photography and a short break before continuing to the breathtaking Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda's most beautiful lakes, famous for its 29 islands and safe swimming waters.

Upon arrival, enjoy an evening boat cruise to explore some of Lake Bunyonyi's famous islands while taking in the spectacular scenery. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, approximately a one-and-a-half-hour drive from Lake Bunyonyi. Upon arrival, attend a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority before beginning your unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure. The trek can last anywhere between three and eight hours, depending on the location and movements of the gorilla family. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend one magical hour observing them in their natural habitat. Watch powerful silverbacks, playful juveniles, and nurturing mothers as they go about their daily lives—an experience that few people in the world are privileged to enjoy.

For the trek, you are advised to carry a packed lunch, enough drinking water, rain gear, a long-sleeved shirt, sturdy hiking shoes, and any personal essentials.
After the trek, return to Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort for dinner and your overnight stay.
